Register an inbox email account (@core.teamtad.com) using a Payment ID
*Koyns are special tokens used within our company. People can buy these tokens from our payment gateway and use them
across all our services and products.
What to do after your account is created?
Step 1: Remember your Account Secret!
Once registered; you would get your
"account secret" which are four random words.
One space separates each word. It is case sensitive.
Remember it well, and keep it secret! If you do forget it,
you will have to again use this registration form, with the
same Payment ID as the one you had used first.
Step 2: Create at least one Alias
After you register, make sure that you get a free
alias by
by sending the alias command at the commands page.
Currently, we allow each account to have 5 free aliases.
Step 3: See emails in your special inbox
Once you have an
alias for your account, you can use that to sign-up and sign-in at various websites. The emails they
send would appear in your
own special inbox here.
As this system is to help you de-clutter your regular emails, you CANNOT connect this system with any other email software.
So to view the messages people email you; you must use that special inbox.
How to use sign-up using your alias?
For older websites/apps that still uses emails for registrations, do this:
Append
@core.teamtad.com to that alias and convert it into an email address.
Use that email address to register at any website/app. You can read all
the emails and encrypted messages you get in your special inbox here:
https://inbox.core.teamtad.com
Some merchants have implemented the Known.Email passwordless access API. You can directly use your alias at those websites/apps.
They will send you encrypted OTPs for you to enter those websites/apps.
What is the account secret?
The "account secret" is a clever innovation from us; inspired by
XKCD. It represents your account here at
Known Email
The "account secret" is quite easy for your to remember but it is very hard for others to guess. Remember that
account secret well.
That is one "password" you will need to remember. Never reveal that to anyone. Not even at any merchant site. It is ONLY to configure
your account, for you to read messages sent to you via our system. And to call our API; in case you are a merchant
(or a developer working for
a merchant -- in which case, the merchant will need to setup the account, and share the Account Secret with the trusted developer)
You can also verify the strength of
your account secret here.
If you are unhappy, remake the secret by
sending the 'RemakeSecret' command here.
The Known Email system has an
easy to read, extensive documentation.
It has all the details.
